We went to Takayama city in Gifu prefecture for skiing last weekend(20/Jan). It was one day trip by my car.
Actually, I took a free papre about ski resorts last December. And there was a survey about ski resorts, question was what is your favorite ski resorts, what is your favorite ski equipments, how foten go skiing in witer season and so on. I filled out that questionnaires and send it to publishing company. We were lucky, because that company send a free ski rosorts pair tickets to us by lottery. That said, we visited HIDA MontDeus KURAIYAMA ski resort.
This ski resort is located northan part of Gifu prefcutre, it is about 20 mintues from Takayama down town by car. Actually, it was about 3 and half hours from my home by car. There are 3 chair lift lines and 5 ski runs in ski area. Almost ski runs are for bigners and intermediate skiers. It had a little snow last Saturday night, and that condition on Sunday was very nice. We could enjoy powder ski. It was cloudy day time on Sunday, so it was keeping cold in day time. That made the ski runs good condition. This is the first time we’ve visited KURAIYAMA ski resort. It was nice place for skiing. I want to visit again.
After skiing, we went to supermarket in Takayama city. And we bought few Hida beefs. Takayama is famous for Hida beef. We left 3PM before the roads got busy. We enjoyed Hida beef for dinner at my home.
