スキー、野球と温泉が大好きです。

Congratulations!

We were originally planning to visit Sendai and Fukushima for sight-seen last weekend (2-4/November). It’s a best season to see autumn colors in Tohoku area. We want to see the autumn colors and stay in the Japanese style hotel with hot springs (I love natural hot springs). We've gotten the free flight tickets with ANA millage from Osaka to Sendai on 2/November night.

Actually, you knew the Tohoku Rakuten Eagles made it to the Japan series! (Remember my blog 24/October). And I tried to get the Japan series tickets, game 7 (3/November) at Miyagi Kleenex stadium last week.

Finally, I got the two tickets on the first base side. Look closely and you’ll see the price on it. I don’t think it’s a expensive.

We landed at Sendai airport around 6PM and picked up my rent a car. We arrived at our hotel in Sandai around 7PM, and we watched the game 6 on TV. The starter of eagles was Masahiro Tanaka. Everyone, also me expected the eagles would get the Japan champion at game 6. There is a no game 7 at that time, because he had never lost the game in this season. I was complicated, because I hoped the Eagles get the Japan champion at game 6, but I wanted to see the game 7. And finally, he lost the game 6. I was very surprised, but we finally could see the game 7.

The game 7 means final in this season, and that was really good game. We were really happy. In the 9th, Eagles 3-0 lead to Giants. The Eagles were going to win the Japan series. The Eagles manager HOSHINO switched to TANAKA in top of the 9th inning. Actually, he threw 160 pitch yesterday, but I had been thinking he throw in the game 7 again, because it was last game for him in Japan. Everyone is thinking he will go to MLB next season. He was untouchable

He gave two hit in the 9th inning, but finally closed the game. Tohoku Rakuten Eagles got a Japan champion in this year. It was first time win for Eagles. Congratulations, and thank you!
