Kamikochi Day 2

I walked around in down town in Takayama city in the morning. I could walk just one hour, because the down town was compact. There were a lot of old streets, Japanese Sake breweries and traditional shops.

After Takayama, I went to Hirayu in Oku-Hida. Hirayu is high altitude, surrounded mountains and there is a lot of Japanese style hotel (Ryokan) with hot springs. And it was a good place to taking a bus for Shi-Hodaka hot springs, Mt. Norikura, Kamikouchi where is really beautiful place in mountains, and Matsumoto. I changed a bus for Matsumoto at Hirayu bus center. After 30 minutes bus ride, I dropped at Sakamaki Onsen hot spring. I enjoyed hot spring in the open air bath tub in mountains.

After Sakamaki Onsen, I went to Matsumoto by bus and train. I went to baseball stadium in Matsumoto and I watched independent professional baseball game “Shinano GrandSerows– Fukui MiracleElephants”. The coach of Shinano is Akinori Ohtsuka. He played as closer in NPB and MLB, but he got hurt his elbow and he had some operation for elbow. There was a few people in stadium, because the Shinano in this season is really weak (bottom place).

I left the stadium around 8 PM, because my wife came. She couldn't take day off on Friday, and came to Matsumoto after her working. We stayed at Asama Onse hot springs near Matsumoto stadium.
