We woke up morning as usual on 10. We didn't have jet lag, because slept well in the long flight. Our staying hotel didn't include breakfast, so we went to restaurant, Denny's near hotel and had a breakfast with beacon and eggs. It was so good.
And then we went to rent a car center in SEA airport by Hotel's shuttle bus. It was nice service. After we picked our car up, we went to Elbe in Tacoma for boarding to Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad. This is scenic and heritage railroad operating between Elbe and Mineral. The ticket office is located in Elbe, so we needed to go Elbe station first for taking tickets with internet ordered.
We traveled from Elbe to Mineral where has a Mt.Rainier Scenic Railroad Museum, with 11km distance. As we cross the bridge, we could see the Mt.Rainier. It was nice and beautiful, because it was on a clear day. Train was running in the forest. After 40 minutes ride, we arrived at Mineral. We walked to see around Museum in Mineral. We learned about history of forestry development, railroad in this area and also operating scenic railroad in these days.
We stayed at Edomons in WA on 10, August. Edomons is port town, and also really beautiful, safety town. We liked it.
