We went to Tohoku (Yamagata prefecture) again last weekend. We visted Tengendai ski resort in Yonezawa city on Saturday. This ski resort is located in Mt. Azuma. This area is high altitude, and it has a lot of snow. All chair rifts and Gondola rift in Tengendai were canceled on last Friday, because it was strong wind and had heavy snow. It was good condition on Saturday. The tempurature was –5 degrees at ski resort and snow was really dry powder! I felt spring has come in Yonezawa down town, but it's still winter in Tengendai.
