We went to Nagano for skiing last weekend by car. It was nice weather in Nagano.
It's really hot in Kansai area, so it looks like summer.
Actually, it's spring in Nagano. Cherry blossoms begin blooming in the mountain side of Nagano prefecture. It's really beautiful cherry blossom and the mountains covered with snow.
We enjoyed skiing in Nozawa Onsen ski resort on Sunday, and then we went to Iiyama station for boarding the Hokuriku-Shinkansen(bullet train). We left my car on the parking near Iiyama station, and we got on the bullet train “Hakutaka” bound for Kanazawa.
The Nagano-Kanazawa route of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line began services on March 15, 2015. The “Hakutaka”, what stops every stations, connects Iiyama and Kanazawa in one hour and 17 minutes.
Yes, off course, it was first time for us to get on the Hokuriku-Shinkansen(bullet train). It was really comfortable, because it's really first from Iiyama to Kanazawa, and we could see the nice viewing for mountains, Myoko and Tateyama. After Kanazawa, we needed to change the express train “Shirasagi” bound for Maibara… I can't be bothered to change the train at Kanazawa…
