We often visit to Nagano for skiing in winter season. I used to go to Nagano by bus or JR train "Shinano". We have been to Nagano by JR new Hokuriku bullet train and JR express train "Shirasag" since last year. This one is comfortable than bus or JR train "Shinano", because time of train ride is shortly. It's so good.
We usually get off the bullet train at Iiyama station. Iiyama is best place for visting Nozawa Onsen ski resort and Shiga Kogen ski resort. I hope that more bullet trains are running and the price of parking in Iiyama station is getting down.
