We went to Toyama for sightseen last weekend. We visited Meiken Onsen on Saturday. It was really tough trip, because we couldn't use a car for getting there. We have to borad the Kurobe Gorge train from Unazuki to Keyaki Daira station with 80 minutes, and then we have to walk about 20 minutes. This Meiken onsen is really nice place for getting refresh. We took a lunch and enjoyed the hot springs.
Actually, it was nice weather on Saturday, so we enjoyed not only hot springs in Meiken, but also boarding the Kurobe Gorge railway. It's about 20 km from Unazuki to Keyaki Daira. This railway is compact train with narrow gauge. The electric locomotive was pulling a long line of coach cars with slow speed, because these trains run along the Kurobe river (there're many curves), cross twenty one bridges and run through forty one tunnels. Some coach cars has no window, so we could feel the wind directly. The view from the seat was amazing!
Anyway, I was relaxed, and I felt full of life in Toyama!
