Our trip started flying for Tokyo (Haneda) on Tuesday (9/August) by ANA, and then we changed to Delta airlines for Los Angelas. Delta airlines had cancelled and delayed flights on 8/Monday (New York time) all over the world, due to loss of electric power affecting the Delta computer system in the head office. Fortunately our flight for LA and next flight (LA to PDX) wasn’t cancelled, both were just an hour delay . Our airplane landed at PDX (Portland international airport) around 12AM, and we stayed one night at the hotel close to the PDX airport.
