Last weekend, we went to Kochi and Tokushima located on Shikoku island. There're many ways to get to Shikoku from Kansai. For example, airlines, railways, ferry boats and car. Our trip started for Wakayama by Nankai railways and then we changed to the Nankai ferry boat bound for Tokushima. I think the train and ferry boat are the best way to go to Tokushima from Osaka, because Nankai company provides really reasonable tickets, just \2,000 from Osaka to Tokushima. I like it.
After Tokushima, we headed to Kochi by JR trains. In Kochi, we enjoyed Modori Katsuo and Japanese Sake. Katsuo means Bonito fish. This fish lives off the coast of Kochi in spring. And then, they go to near Hokkaido in the summer. Finally they come back to Kochi in autumn. So we call them in autumn “Modori Katsuo”. These fishes are really fat and oily. It’s really delicious. We love them.
