We went to Yanmar Museum in Nagahama, Shiga last Saturday. This is an industrial museum and operated by Yanmar company. Yanmar is mainly a diesel engine company and provides seagoing vessels, pleasure boats, construction equipment and agricultural equipment with their diesel engine. Yanmar was founded in 1912 by Magokichi Yamaoka. Nagahama in Shiga is his hometown and it was easy to access in just 90 minutes drive from Kusatsu. This Museum restarted on 9th June, but it opens only for visitors who live in Shiga and they request advance reservations to enter the museum to prevent coronavirus. Of course, we needed to wear a mask and disinfect before entering the museum. We looked around inside the Museum in the morning and we enjoyed the Anegawa hot springs after Yanmar Museum. It was a one day trip, but we got refreshed, because we stayed home for two months. We're planning to visit hot springs in Gifu next weekend.
