My wife and I took a ski trip to Iwate prefecture with her mother, because last weekend was a three day weekend. It was our first time to visit there in four years. There was a lot of snow and the conditions on the ski slopes were amazing. We enjoyed the powdery snow and the groomed ski runs there in the morning. After lunch, we enjoyed sightseeing, because my wife’s mother doesn’t ski. She likes viewing the mountains covered with snow and the hot springs. So, we stayed at a Japanese style hotel with hot springs. Iwate is a nice place to stay, because there are many good ski resorts, amazing hot springs and nice local food including Japanese Sake. I want to visit again someday.
