We bought a folding bike, made in the USA two weeks ago and tried it last weekend. In the morning, we headed to Kusatsu railway station by bike and got on the JR train with the bike. We changed train at Kibukawa and then arrived at Minakuchi station around 10AM. After Minakuchi, we used the bike. It was very useful, comfortable and convenient. Summer in Japan is too hot to go around by bike, but I hope that we can enjoy it in the cooler seasons. I want to go to Imazu in Shiga prefecture by train and go around the lake shore by bike in autumn.
