We came to Miami for watching MLB baseball games, Marlins against Redsox. Our most priority objective was to see Japanese player, Ichiro from Marlins. We watched two games in Miami.
After checking in the hotel, we headed to the Marlins park in down town by bus. This stadium was built in 2012. It's new and dome stadium (It's really hot and much rain in Miami) . It had a shower and hot outside stadium, but it was really comfortable inside.
The first game was Marlins 5-4 Redsox, the next game was Marlins 14-6 Redsox. Ichiro's batting average was not high in this season, but some regular out fielders in Marlins were in DL, so he got starting member both games. We could see his three hits in the two games. Ichiro was incredible!
Both team were terrible place in this season, but the games were not bad. We also could see playing Ichiro and Japanese pitcher Tazawa from Redsox.
And Do you remember him? He is Casey McGehee from Marlins. He has previously played in NPB for Tohoku Rakuten Eagles. His record was pretty good, .292 with 28HR and 93 RBI in Japan. He just played one year in Japan, and after NPB, he got the contract with Miami Marlins. His main role in this season is pinch hitter. Good luck, McGehee
