We visited the Okaya Silk Museum in Nagano last Saturday. Okaya area had a lot of Silk Mill in Meiji period. Actually there are many Heritage of Industrial Modernization in Japan. Okaya Silk Mill is one of them. We learned a lot about cocoon, silk-reeling, making process of silk, and history Okaya silk mill.
