We visited Nozawa Onsen ski resort in Nagano on January 13th and 14th. We left our car near Iiyama station, which is just 20 minute from Nozawa Onsen. We came back my home by the bullet train on 14th and headed to Iiyama again by train on 19th. I picked up my car last Friday and headed to Kakuma hot springs. We stayed at Kakuma hot springs on Friday and Nozawa hot spring on Saturday. These hot springs are really nice, because the hot water is 100% naturally hot.
We skied at Nozawa on Saturday and Sunday. There was no snowfall and the day was sunny and there was already more than 200 cm snow on top of the ski resort. The snow condition was not bad. Actually, the surface of ski runs was hard and icy. We needed to tune up our skies before skiing and ski carefully. We enjoyed skiing and the hot springs in Nozawa. We had a great time there.
