Even though it's March, it's still ski season. However, I can't go skiing for a while, because I injured my right knee. So instead of skiing, we went to Kurasiki to watch the NPB baseball game, last weekend. The pre season game, featured the Rakuten Eagles against Seibu Lions which took place in Kurasiki stadium in Okayama. The Kurasiki city is about 200km west of Osaka. We drove there by car, it was three hours drive. It wasn't bad. The weather was nice on Saturday. It wasn't too cold or hot. Plus, it was not a windy day. It was the best day for watching baseball outside. Kurasiki isn't a dome stadium. So I like it. The Seibu Lions was in second place and The Rakuten Eagles was in third last season. This season, both teams want to win the Nippon Champion, because they have good starters, relievers and power hitters. I hope for exciting games in this season.
After the baseball game in Kurasiki, we headed to Yubara hot springs in Okayama. Yubara is located north of Kurasiki. It was just a 90 minute drive to get there from Kurasiki. We stayed at a Japanese style hotel with hot springs for one night. Thanks to the hot springs, I got refreshed and now able to move my leg smoothly.
