We visited Manchester, York, Liverpool and London during our summer vacation. We came back to Japan last Friday without any problems and we had a great experience in the UK. Our trip started flying from Osaka to Hongkon with Cathey Pacific Air lines and then we changed planes for Paris. Around 6 AM next morning we landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and changed planes again for Manchester in the UK. Manchester is known as a historic city and the Industrial Revolution, plus is famous for soccer clubs but I'm not interested in soccer. Anyway, after checking into the hotel in Manchester we headed to the Museum of Science and Industry and looked around inside about two hours. There was a lot of interactive and historical exhibits in the museum. I realized again the industrialization started from Manchester more than 100 years ago. After the museum we looked around the center of the city by light rail and bus. Manchester was a really nice place because the city was beautiful, clean, safe and exciting. We stayed there just one night.
