Some weather news said it will be warm this winter. In fact the average temperature of November and December was higher than normal in Japan, so there is no natural snow in some ski areas in Nagano and Gifu. Actually, we were planning to go to Nagano for skiing last weekend, but we had to change our schedule, because the ski resort, which we were planning to visit, was closed due to no snow last weekend. It was too bad and it can't be helped.
I check the weather news and live cameras everyday in ski resorts in Nagano. It is cold this week and it will snow snow this weekend there. So we're planning to go to Suwa in Nagano prefecture for skiing this weekend. I hope there will be much snow in the ski resorts in Nagano. I can't wait.
