We went to Nagano for our first skiing this season last weekend. We visited Shirakaba ski resort on Saturday and visited Tateshina ski resort on Sunday. These ski resorts are located in Suwa area in Nagano prefecture and so we stayed at a Ryokan with hot springs in Suwa just one night. It was really cold last weekend, however this area had little snow so ski runs in both ski resorts were 100% artificial snow. Of course most ski runs were closed due to no snow, just one for beginner ski runs were open. Actually, I got a ligament injury to my right knee ten months ago when I was skiing so it was the first time skiing after I got the injury but I could enjoy my skiing without any problems. We're planning to go to Nagano for skiing next weekend. I hope there will be much snow in Nagano and Niigata next weekend.
