We went to Komaki in Aichi prefecture and visited the Aichi museum of flight last Monday. There're so many industry museums in Aichi and the Aichi museum of flight is one of them. This museum is located next to Komaki airport and also the Mitsubishi aircraft factory. We looked around inside the museum of flight and joined the factory tour in the Mitsubishi aircraft corporation. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries group is a really big company in Japan and they have really excellent engineering. Now they are trying to develop their own new aircrafts ”MRJ (Mitsubishi Regional Jet)”. Actually, Japan had good aircraft makers before World War Ⅱ and they provided a lot of fighter planes for the Imperial Japanese army. Back then, the Japanese engineering of aircraft was No.1 all over the world. After World War Ⅱ, the production of aircraft in Japan was stopped by United Nations. However, about 70 years has passed after World War Ⅱ, so everything has changed. MHI is tring to provide aircraft again now, the prototype model MRJ has already flown and they have a test flight everyday in the US now. Mitsubishi is planning to have the first flight with ANA (All Nippon Airlines) in 2021, so I cant't wait to board the MRJ aircraft someday.
