I like fruits and summer is the best season to enjoy them. We often buy a watermelon from Tottori and Nagano. Watermelons from Tottori are especially delicious and I love it. Actually, we went to farmers market in Obanazawa, Yamanaga last weekend and bought a big watermelon. When we think of Obanazawa, we always think of watermelon. Obanazawa is the No.1 place in Japan for the production of watermelon. It becomes more sweet when there's a big difference temperature in Obanazawa basin with a large temperature difference between day and night. We tried the watermelon yesterday and I was very surprised it is so sweet. I've never enjoyed a watermelon this good, because a watermelon from Yamagata is not available in Shiga. I'll buy it from website next year.
