Recently, there have been cold days, because the cold air is staying in Japan. Actually, there was heavy snow in Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama and Niigata prefectures last weekend. The snowfall one night in Toyama city was 60cm and more. Usually, there is a lot of snow in the northern part of Japan. In winter, the north and west winds blow and snow clouds from the Japan sea hit the high mountains in Japan, and finally cause a lot of snow to fall in Hokuriku area. Finally, the railway lines, bus lines and airports were canceled, plus the highways were closed because many trucks and cars got stuck due to the heavy snow. I heard some schools, shops and even ski resorts were closed and I think it's a disaster. I hope everything in Hokuriku area is back to normal as soon as possible.
