We go skiing to Nagano during new year vacation with my friends every year and of course we're planning to visit Nagano this year too. However, even in Japan, the spread of COVID-19 is mushrooming now. So we discussed about going to skiing or not during new year vacation many times. Finally, we decided to go skiing and we're staying at Kamisuwa in Nagano for three nights. We think skiing is safe compared to other sports, because skiing is outdoors and not a contact sport. However, we must pay attention to social distancing and no drinking party in this ski season.
By the way, the vaccine for COVID-19 has started last week in European countries and the US. I hope that the vaccine is effective and there are no side effects, plus the spread of COVID-19 could be stopped by the new vaccine.
