The cherry blossom season has finished in Kansai area, however you can still enjoy them in the northern part of Japan. Actually, we went to Nagano to ski last weekend by car and enjoyed skiing and viewing the cherry blossom too. There’re so many high mountains and much snow in Nagano. So the cherry blossoms will reach their peak two weeks later than Kansai. It was very beautiful scenery, because the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, foliage was very beautiful and green, you could see the beautiful snowy mountains beyond. We had a great time there and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms until this weekend, plus skiing until May in Nagano. Now, it’s a time to go to Nagano, but make sure you wear your anti-COVID-19 mask.
