Last weekend, we took a ski trip to Nagano and Gifu prefectures. On Friday, it was warm and rainy in Kansai. However, the cold air from Russia came over Japan after the rain and it was snowing in the northern part of the country. We were happy, because there was a lot of snow in the ski resorts and we enjoyed the powdery snow. On the other hand, we were unhappy, because there was a lot of cars stuck due to the heavy snow. And also, we saw many traffic accidents on the road. My car is safer compared with normal cars, because our car is an SUV with 4WD, manual transmission and snow tires. I have to pay attention when driving in the snow.
