The Omicron variant is spreading not only all over the world but also in Japan. The Japanese government has reported more than twenty thousand people infected with the COVID-19 every day in the last few days. I thought we were getting back to our normal lifestyle last month, but some events have been canceled, some local governments have requested reducing the open time for restaurants to provide an alcohol this month.
The number of people infected with the Coronavirus in Japan is smaller than in western countries. I heard that even if we get the Omicron variant, the symptoms are milder than the Delta. We have had to overcome six different waves of the virous. We're planning a ski trip to Nagano this weekend and we will try to stay safe and avoid crowded places, enclosed spaces and hugs.
