12 years have passed since the great eastern Japan earthquake of March 11, 2011 and I feel time flies very quickly. Recovering from such a terrible disaster takes time, however I feel the people of the Tohoku region have made great progress rebuilding their home. We had a terrible experience, but we learned a lot from that earthquake, so we can prepare for any future big disasters.
