We stayed in AizuWakamatsu one night on 9/Feb.. And we visited the Fairy Land Kaneyama ski resort next morning. It was 1 hour and harf from AizuWakamatsu by car. Kanayama town was a cute little place, and snow was better than I expected. The ski resort was a cute little too, but snow condition was perfect. We had a great time.
FUKUSHIMA is nice place for staying, I think. Because there are many ski resorts, hot springs and mountaines in western side, and FUKUSHIMA faces the Pacific sea. So you could enjoy sea foods and swimming in the sea side. But on the other side, there are few the Nuclear power plants in FUKUSHIMA. They had a accident two years ago. I hope to become a revival as soon as possible.
