I went to Kaneyama town in Fukushima prefecture on business last week. Kaneyama is located in a region called Oku-Aidzu and surrounded by high mountanes. In 2011, Fukushima was the site of a major nuclear disaster caused by a Tsunami which killed thousands of people, but the western portion of Fukushima including Oku-Aidzu is safe, because it’s far away from the Fukushima Daiicchi nuclear power plant. This is an area rich in natural beauty, so it is a very nice place to stay and to relax. There’re many mountains, many very beautiful lakes and rivers, in addition you can enjoy many types of natural hot springs and go skiing. However, there’re only few residents and tourists, so it would be quite difficult to establish a successful business there, if I could think up a good new busuness plan I would like to move to Oku-Aidzu. It’s my dream.
