We went to Nagano for skiing during new year vacation with my friends (We were 4 people group including us). We enjoyed skiing at Kijima, Nozawa Onsen, Sakae and Togakushi. Well, it had a lot of snow on the 1st/January in Sakae. It was big snow, and since close was 40cm new snow fall. We enjoyed powder skiing at Sakae ski resort. Yeah, we were lucky, because the kick off day new year was big snow!
