We were planning to visit Murodo, Tateyama in Toyama prefecture last weekend, but we canceled our traveling due to the typhoon. That area is located in the Chubu central mountains national park and is over 2,400 meters above sea level. Private cars are not allowed in this area, because these areas are in the national park, and so you must board the cable car, ropeway and bus to get there. However, these transportations might be canceled due to the typhoon and we gave up visiting there and it was too bad. I heard the autumn leaves in Tateyama are best right now. I hope to try again next year.
