We enjoyed a four day holiday last weekend. We visited Nagano prefecture and stayed three nights there and enjoyed canoeing on the lake, eating local food, trekking through the mountains and relaxing in the natural hot springs. They were very nice and it was super comfortable, because it was much cooler than our home in Kansai. We needed to wear jackets at night, because of the cool weather. We stayed in a Japanese style hotel with hot springs, located on the hotel grounds. The hotel was located at the base of mountains within sight of a beautiful river. I believe Japan is a nice place to visit, because you can connect with nature, good local food and you can have interesting culture experience. Now, the Olympic games are taking place in Tokyo, Yokohama, Fukusima, Sendai and Sapporo. I hope the Olympian not only do their best, but also have a good experience and have a nice stay in Japan.
