Now, the Olympic games are taking place in Tokyo without any major problems and I’m happy, because many Japanese athletes have won medals. It’s so good.
On the other hand, unfortunately the number of people, infected by the new delta variant of corona virus is going up in the Osaka and Tokyo metropolitan areas. The Japanese government has announced a state of emergency in Okinawa, Osaka, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba and Tokyo prefectures once again. It’s too bad and I got tired of this situation.
I think we all need to get the vaccine, because it’s the best way to get back normal. The vaccinations are proceeding slowly in Japan, but finally I made a reservation to get my shot. We need to get it twice, so I will go the hospital end of the August and then in September. I hope we get back normal by next winter.
