Last Saturday, we went to Sapporo Dome Stadium and watched a baseball game, the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters versus the Seibu Lions. It was last time for us to visit there, because the Fighters will move to a new home stadium in Kita-Hiroshima next to the city of Sapporo. The old dome stadium was easy access from the downtown and we didn’t have to worry about bad weather, however, it was very expensive to maintain and featured artificial turf which is not good for players. Finally, the Fighters decided to move to a new stadium. It has a natural grass and a roof which can open and close. I heard the new stadium is compact which gives the fan a good view of the action. I can’t wait for next season!
