Portland, OR and Fresno, CA 6

This was the final day of the our trip. After the we took a breakfast in the hotel, we headed to Budget Car Rental in down town on foot, because I had a reservation car rental, to pick up in Fresno downtown and return to LAX airport in Los Angeles. When we asked the staff in Budget, and then she told me, we have no car for you….. What? It was hard for us to accept her answer, however it can't be helped. In fact, they had no car… Finally, they suggested me that your reservation could change to pick up another Budget Car Reantal (Fresnno airport). We had to accept their suggestion, because if we didn't get a car, we couldn't get the Los Angeles.

We left the Budget in down town, and then went to Fresno airport by Taxi. In the airport, we could pick up car without any problems. We spent the waste time in the morning, anyway we headed to Bakersfield in Kern County. On the way to next destination, we could see the oil field in Kern County. It was really huge…

We visited the Kern County Museum in Bakersfield. There're many display for the history, oil field, vintage equipment in Kern County, and Gold Rush in California. I learned there're many oil fields and oil companies in this area. It's really interesting.

Our next stop was The Mojave Air and Space Port, also known as the end place of airplanes in Mojave, California. Mojave in the desert is 60 miles east of Bakersfield.

In the photo above, there're many airplanes for storage in the airport. These one will break up for scrap. We saw a lot of Boring 767, Jumbo jet. It's really precious experiences, I think.

Our final stop was Lancaster, CA where is 70 miles north of Los Angeles. This was our final minor baseball game of a our trip. We watched the Lancaster Jethawks(home) against San Jose Giants. In the game, I wore just T-shirt and put a MLB uniform, Miami Marlins Ichiro on T-shirts. Ichiro SUZUKI reached 3000 hits in MLB, and everybody in US knows his great record. I was asked from many baseball fans, and I have shook hands with some baseball gays. I felt happy, somehow. Thank you so much baseball fans and Ichiro!
