J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse

We went to Yunomine in Wakayama prefecture last month. Yunomine is really famous for 100% natural hot springs. The water is really hot, about 90 degrees and contains many minerals. It's really good for our health, I think. There is a public bath and some the Japanese style hotels in Yunomine. However some hotels are closed, because the owners are old retired. So they stopped the business in their hotels. The Minsyuku Oguriya was one of them. The owner stopped the business, because he is over 80 years old. Minsyuku is smaller than Ryokan, and they are a family run business.

And then J-Hoppers bought The Minsyuku Oguriya. Finally, J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse just opened last month. This guesthouse has a Tatami rooms and pretty good hot springs, but they don't provide meals. You should get the meals before checking in the hotel, because there is no restaurants and no groceries stores in Yunomine. We stayed in a Tatami private room just for one night. I took a hot springs bath four times one night. It's really reasonable deal!
