Baseball game in Kobe

We went to Kobe to watch the ORIX Buffaloes play the RAKUTEN Eagles last Friday. The Hot Mott Field Kobe has forty thousand seats in the ballpark, but only five thousand were sold for that game, because there was the state of emergency in Hyogo prefecture. We were lucky and got a good seats, but unfortunately, they stopped selling all alcoholic drinks to prevent the spread of infection there. So, we enjoyed the ballgame without beer and Japanese sake. I understand there is a high risk of catching the COVID-19 virus when drinking and eating. I hope baseball goes back to normal as soon as possible.
Next day, we visited the TAKENAKA Carpentry Tools Museum in Kobe. The exhibitions in the museum were more interesting than I expected. Carpentry skills and tools in Japan have a very long history, because even in modern time, there are many wooden  structures in our country. We had a good time and learned a lot about carpenter's  techniques and tools there.
