We had a summer vacation last week and visited Akita, Iwate, Aomori and Hokkaido prefecuers by car and ferry boat. We enjoyed amazing sea food, relaxing natural hot springs, canoeing on the lake Kuttari and driving through the scenic cuntry side viewing there. These areas are very popular destination not only for Japanese visitors, but also foreigners, so I hope everybody can come and enjoy there without any state of emergency and masks in the future. By the way, we sometimes needed to change our plan due to heavy rains in Aomori and Iwate, but it was not a big problem, because we didn’t get stuck there. I heard the news that the Kyusyu, Chugoku and Cyubu areas had suffered terrible damage due to sudden heavy rains. I hope they get back normal as soon as possible.
