I went to Kochi prefecture on business last week. Kochi is located in the southern part of Shikoku Island and it take about 4 or 5 hours by train. So, I used FDA airlines from Kobe to Kochi and it took just 45 minutes. I think it’s the best way to get to Kochi, because it’s very reasonable and the flight tome is short. However, you should be aware that there is just one round trip flight a day between Kobe and Kochi.
FDA is a regional airline and all the aircraft are small, but they are very comfortable and flight tickets are reasonable. FDA has flights from Kobe to Sapporo, Aomori, Hanamaki, Niigata, Matsumoto and Kochi. Kobe is the hub for FDAs network. I want to use this airline to Hanamaki in January next year.
