We visited Sapporo city in Hokkaido last weekend. We watched a pair of Interleague games, the Nippon Ham Fighters versus the Chunichi Dragons. I thought that both games were exciting and we enjoyed them very much.
Last Sunday, we went to the historical village of Hokkaido which is an open air museum in Sapporo. There’re many old buildings restored and we learned about pioneering in Hokkaido about 100 years sgo. Back then, the people were hard workers, because there was a lot of land, however there weren’t enough machines to help with the work and the weather was bad, cold with a lot of snow…
The rainy season has just started in Shiga, however it was very comfortable weather in Hokkaido, no humidity, not hot or not cold in Sapporo. It’s the best season for staying there and we’d like to visit in summer again. Plus, we’d like to eat the delicious local food like a sea food and fruits.
