We went to Sayo town last weekend. It is located in the western part of the Hyogo prefecture. It took about two hours from Kyoto station to get there by JR train. We arrived at Sayo station around noon and had lunch there. We ordered fried udon noodles with grilled beef intestines for lunch. This is a famous Tsuyama and also in Sayo town. These areas have many cattle farmers and it’s easy to get a fresh intestine. It’s my favorite food and I want to eat it once a month. However, this food is a regional cuisine, so you can’t get this meal in Shiga prefecture. I want to visit Sayo town again to eat my favorite food.
