I went to Appi Kogen ski resort in Iwate prefecture last weekend with my wife and her parents. We arrived at Appi around 10AM on Saturday , and it was a little rain in there.
The snow has started to melt in heavy snowfall areas, because it's getting warmer day by day in March. However, the snow was back in Appi on last Sunday and Monday (Last Monday was national holiday). The ski runs in Appi were not bad, so we could enjoy skiing and also hot springs, local meals.
