We went to Akita in the northern part of Honsyhu last weekend. Akita is a very nice place for visiting and staying because there're so many hot springs, ski resorts, national parks and amazing local foods, however speaking of Akita, it's an Akita-inu (dog) for me.
Akita dog is a large and native Japanese dog from the mountainous regions of Akita. They are registered on the natural treasure list and protected by the law of protection of cultural properties in Japan, because the number of them has decreased than many years ago. Of course, I'd like to have an Akita dog, but we can't have them. Actually, I bought a stuffed animal of an Akita dog for my souvenir in Akita. It's so cute!
